“We want to see Daniels leading in America. We hope to accomplish this by encouraging and equipping the Daniels that God has brought to Arizona and sending them out to be a blessing.”

Vision & Mission

Who is a Daniel?

Daniel 6:3 “And Daniel was over them, for there was an excellent spirit in him, and the king set him over all his kingdom.”

Daniel is one of the most well-known characters from the Bible, yet we know nothing about the people who trained him to be faithful to God before he was taken captive in Babylon. We do know that Daniel lived faithfully in Babylon which was a spiritually dark place. Daniel didn't assimilate with the culture of Babylon but also didn't isolate himself, in fact, he excelled in what he did. In Babylon, Daniel blessed both God’s people and his new nation. We want the second generation of multicultural leaders to bless our cities and lead the churches in the 21st century.

Daniels are International underserved leaders from minority communities in the U.S. They are:

  1. "Diasporas" involuntary or voluntarily migrated to America.

  2. First-generation immigrant leaders, brought to America to be a blessing.

  3. Second-generation, born and raised by Immigrant parents.

We focus on encouraging and equipping the second generation of immigrants in Arizona to be a blessing and lead all of God's people in America with an excellent spirit, as it was with Daniel. We want to see Daniels leading in America.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?

We focus on discipling the diaspora community from other nations to lead all of God’s people in America.

What People Are Saying

“The Daniel initiative, for me, is really the first American Ministry that has seen and understood our challenges. D.I. not only sees and understands, but also encourages us to embrace our differences and to let God use our weakness and strength as a predominantly immigrant church. I see this ministry as the voice of Mordechai was for Ester. As she found herself in a completely different culture, belief and system the voice of Mordechai was encouraging and motivating to see the purpose God had for her. I am grateful for the Daniel initiative and I pray for wisdom and provision, so they continue to encourage many international churches as they have been doing so.

“As a leader and minister in a minority and international church, it isn't just about sermon preparations, preaching and counseling. We have additional duties most American church leaders don't have. To mention a few; Translating, becoming the bridge between parents of other cultures and their Children born of American culture, juggling between both cultures and applying the word of God.”

“The Daniel initiative has been an eye opening journey and a true blessing to my testimony. I’ve been able to meet the beautiful people of my city and learn about their stories. They come from all over the world and yet we are all here for the same reason to share the love and admiration of our lord and savior. Being able to see it with my eyes first and feeling the true presence of the lord in the shared spaces has been incredible. Can’t wait to see where the lord will take the Daniel initiative and who else we will meet and connect with!!”

“The Daniel initiative has taught me many things in a short period of time. I feel better about communicating, and fellowshipping with all those around me. It helped me feel more confident in my skin and background. I was taught that God can literally use anyone from any background to be a leader. He can and will use anyone for his glory! He can shape someone who was once called a nobody, into a precious leader. A leader that will shape other leaders, and continue sharing the glory of God!”
